I’m going to demonstrate to you each step using my own podcast so you can see each step in action. Stage 1 is all about Your Podcast’s Purpose – Discovering your goals, who your ideal listener is and how you can serve them.
Taking It Step-By-Step
Starting from scratch might seem daunting to you. I’m going to walk you through it, though. Just be honest with yourself as we go through your plan. And with each step, you’ll find more clarity.
You’ll need something to write your plan down with so can remember it, refer to it, or even edit it down the line as you get more clarity around your podcast.
I’m using our Podcast Launch Planner PDF which you can download for free here. Or if you prefer you can use a Google Doc, or a physical notebook. Whichever you’re most comfortable with.
If you don’t know what you want to get out of the podcast, you’ll have a hard time finding the right direction and growing the show. And if you don’t know who you’re going to be serving, your content won’t connect people and again, it’ll make it much harder to grow the podcast.
